PC Audio Programs on Mac?

Just wondering. Will I be able to use PC progams like Acid on a Mac running Virtual PC? A mate of mind passed a copy to me and I'd like to try it out on my iMac. Does anybody out there tried it out yet? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
