There's every likelihood that iMac, as well as the G4 tower, will be getting a speed bump this Summer. There's even a rumor that iMac will get a G4 at this time as well. If any of this happens, older model G4 towers will become less expensive to make room for their speedier cousins.
In any case, try to wait until June or July before committing on either Mac.
