I just got a 466mhz firewire i-book with 256megs ram. On Logic Audio Platinum I got 16 tracks of streaming audio as well as 20 plugins through the native sound manager mini jack. and it was at 70% cpu usage!!! I cant believe it! . Also check out the Motu 828 firewire audio interface. My only complaint about this little workhorse is the 12 inch monitor.
