Looks just like MWSF2k Although it's nothing new, it is of note that Yamaha had essentially the same PowerMac/FireWire/Audio & MIDI rig as seen at last Winter's NAMM trade show at San Fransico. That's fine, but when can I plug a Yamaha digital mixer into my DV iMac or G4? According to Yamaha representative Lisa Young, mLan is a "progressive product, meaning, it is going through its development stages now." Nothing new here except we expect to see an enhanced version of mLan at the Summer NAMM show at Nashville. Rest assured the MacRocks.com crew will be on hand and getting into the faces of Yamaha's 1394 experts. In the meantime, we have been able to get a peak at the product line likely to come from Yamaha specifically for IEEE 1394and music. We have more MusikMesse coverage here.
